FIELDS OF APPLICATION
- Gutters and regulating basins of swimming pools.
- Ideal for application on horizontal and vertical surfaces.
HOW IS IT APPLIED?
Before applying EPOXICOLOR POOL we recommend as follows:
- The secret of a successful acid-resistant coating lies in the correct and strict preparation of the surface. To this end, the following points must be complied with:
- For new concrete, you must wait for the concrete to set completely (minimum 30 days). Moisture must be <4% by weight. On old concrete, we shall also check that the moisture content is <4% by weight. (use a hygrometer).
- For S9 Rosa Gres blocks, it is not necessary to wait for the blocks to dry: glue the blocks together with TECNOCOL GEL cement glue and after 24 hours we can waterproof and protect them chemically.
- Gutters and regulating basins must be pre-waterproofed with two layers of HIDROFIX or IMPERTOT following their respective application instructions.
- The minimum application temperature is +10ºC, understanding that the temperature of the surface will be at least +3ºC above the dew point.
Preparing the components:
- The ideal application temperature is +20ºC. When the temperature is very low and the liquid is cold and viscous, immerse the bottle in hot (not boiling) water until it becomes fluid.
Preparing the mix:
- A set consists of: 1 small bottle of liquid +1 bucket with a white paste
- Pour the contents of the bottle completely into the bucket.
- Mix with a spiral mixer coupled to an electric drill at a high RPM.
- Do not add anything else: The colour and special anti-sagging thickener has already been incorporated into EPOXICOLOR POOL.
- Download the EPOXICOLOR POOL Technical Data Sheet for Step by Step installation and all the technical details to ensure correct, safe application.
HOW IS IT RECYCLED?
- Use cardboard and paper recycling bins to dispose of unusable and empty sacks.
- Use plastic recycling bins for unusable and empty plastic packaging.
- Mortar residues and leftover building materials must be disposed of at the appropriate green point or recycling location for your district.
