FIELDS OF APPLICATION
- Its extraordinary elasticity (600%) absorbs all differential movements between the different concrete structures, ensuring the watertightness of the expansion joint.
- Sealing of construction joints, cracks, completely watertight expansion joints in industrial floors, swimming pools, drinking water tanks, terraces and shopping centres.
- It can be placed on epoxy, aluminium, PVC liner, etc. but with its respective adhesive (consult us).
- Reconstruction of concrete steps, ornamental pieces, stone walls.
- Suitable for sealing cracks, fissures and joints with high structural movements: bridges, canals, basins.
HOW IS IT APPLIED?
Before applying FIX-TAPE 170 mm we recommend as follows:
- All contact substrates must be fully cured, resistant and solid, as well as free of dust, paint, waxes, oils and grease at all times.
Basic application of FIX-TAPE 170 mm
- Place the strip in the centre of the joint and form an omega-shaped gusset, which is filled with SELLALASTIC FOAM.
- Place painter’s tape 2 cm away from the strip. Apply 1-2 mm thickness of EPOXICOL to the painter’s tape.
- Glue the FIX-TAPE 170 mm band and then apply more EPOXICOL on top and on both sides.
- Remove the painter’s tape from both sides.

HOW IS IT RECYCLED?
- Use cardboard and paper recycling bins to dispose of unusable and empty sacks.
- Use plastic recycling bins for unusable and empty plastic packaging.
- Mortar residues and leftover building materials must be disposed of at the appropriate green point or recycling location for your district.
