PRIMFIX

Additive for primers, screeds, bonding bridges and for improving the adhesive properties of mortars.

PRIMFIX is a white latex formulated with polymers in an aqueous dispersion.

  • Applied neat, it can serve as a primer.
  • Mixed with pure cement, it can serve as a bonding bridge.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION

  • Mixed with pure Portland cement, it is ideal for making bonding grouts between dry mortar and new mortar as an effective, durable and very strong bonding bridge.
  • Mixed with Portland and sand, it produces an adhesive mortar that is ideal for bonding glazed decorative tiles, stoneware, PORCELAIN STONEWARE, etc.
  • With PRIMFIX you can make mortars of considerable thickness, to lay ceramic tiles with a total guarantee of adhesion.
  • Mortar screeds: from 1 mm. to thick screeds.
  • Sealing of porous substrates such as gypsum plaster, etc. prior to ceramic tile installation with FIXACER or FIX-PORCELANICO FLEX.

HOW IS IT APPLIED?

Before applying PRIMFIX, we recommend as follows:

  • All substrates must be fully cured, resistant and solid, as well as free of dust, paint, waxes, oils and grease at all times.

Preparing the mix:

  • All Portland-sand mixtures with PRIMFIX additives achieve mechanical properties that cannot be achieved with water alone.
  • Download the PRIMFIX Data Sheet to find out what type of mixture to use depending on the application you need. In the technical Data Sheet you will find all the details to ensure correct, safe application.

HOW IS IT RECYCLED?

  • Use cardboard and paper recycling bins to dispose of unusable and empty sacks.
  • Use plastic recycling bins for unusable and empty plastic packaging.
  • Mortar residues and leftover building materials must be disposed of at the appropriate green point or recycling location for your district.
