FIELDS OF APPLICATION
- Interiors and exteriors.
- It guarantees a perfect substrate for technical premises in industries of all kinds: dairies, canneries, flour factories, supermarkets and airports, among others.
- Produces shrink-free screeds with normal working time and fast drying.
- Ceramic tile installation possible after 24 hours.
- Walkways passable after 12 hours.
- Perfectly dry screeds after 2 days, and therefore suitable for laying natural stone, parquet, linoleum, carpets, etc.
- Floating or adhered to the substrate.
- Floor screeds with underfloor heating.
HOW IS IT APPLIED?
Before applying TECHMORTAR R60 we recommend as follows:
- TECHMORTAR R60 allows screeds to be made on any substrate. The substrates must in all cases be in good condition, without spalling, cracks, dust or release oils.
In all cases the following distinctions must be made:
- Screeds with a thickness of less than 4 cm: a screed adhered to the substrate must be produced. Consult the Technical Department on how to make the bonding bridge.
- Screeds thicker than 4 cm: a floating screed on the substrate must be made
Preparation of the mixture:
- Mixing can be done with an automatic pump, in a mixer or in a lorry mixer.
- Adequate mixing ratio: 1 sack of TECHMORTAR R60 + 4 sacks of pre-dosed ARENA 0/8 + approx. 10.5-11.0 litres of clean water.
- Add water to give the resulting mortar a “wet sand” consistency. At this point, do not add any more water.
- Download the TECHMORTAR R60 Data Sheet to check all the technical details and ensure correct, safe application.
HOW IS IT RECYCLED?
- Use cardboard and paper recycling bins to dispose of unusable and empty sacks.
- Use plastic recycling bins for unusable and empty plastic packaging.
- Mortar residues and leftover building materials must be disposed of at the appropriate green point or recycling location for your district.
