HOW TO PLACE TILES OR PAVING IN RECORD TIME
Nowadays it is very easy to place tiles or paving for immediate commissioning, even with heavy traffic.
Fast cement-based adhesives that can be walked on in 3 hours are well known, but at Fixcer Products we go further: we achieve pavements that can be walked on in record time: 90 minutes.
When do we need immediate re-opening?
There are many urgent applications that require a suitable cement-based adhesive for this purpose:
- hotels: Can you imagine being able to start re-tiling the bathroom in the morning and then to occupy the room in the afternoon? In large hotels this happens every day.
- Industries: when working three shifts every day of the year, we need to be able to glue down and drive on our pavement as soon as possible.
- offices: it is very common to re-pave during the weekend and have it ready for Monday
- supermarkets: in these cases we only have Sunday: we still need to be speedier.
- overlays: if it is a question of gluing a new tile on top of an existing tile and grouting it in a hurry, we can also do this with our cement-based glues.

Is this cement difficult to use?
Today’s chemistry allows us to offer you quick-setting cement-based adhesives with extraordinarily long open times. We can state that the tile fixer will find it just as easy to work with these rapid cements as with traditional normal setting cements.
What is the most suitable jointing material?
If the gluing has to be carried out urgently, the jointing material must also be fast-setting.
We recommend the use of the ultra-fine grouting slurry: IDEAL COLOR
This grouting slurry is very smooth and very fluid. Its application is very pleasant. It is also anti-fungal, very waterproof, very easy to clean, efflorescence-free and quick-drying: after 3 hours it is fully ready to be walked on and we can carry out the final cleaning.
In short, it is a high performance jointing material ideal for urgent installations where speed and excellent aesthetics are essential.
