FIELDS OF APPLICATION
- In construction, working joints pose a risk of water seepage. The use of this hydro-expansive bead ensures that if water seeps through one of these joints, it will eventually reach the FUGA-STOP and this will expand, preventing the progressive advance of the water.
- It is suitable for construction joints, cold joints, diaphragm walls, concrete joints, etc.
It can also be applied to pipe penetrations, to avoid the always foreseeable leaks between PVC and concrete joints, or in steel-concrete joints. - Applicable both vertically and horizontally.
- It is fully effective in water treatment plants, car parks, drinking water tanks, SWIMMING POOLS, underground works, sewage plants, and in general in all works with very high water pressures.
- It is ideal for delicate joints in tunnels, ditches, galleries, dykes and waterworks.
- It can be applied on concrete containing chemically aggressive products or seawater.
HOW IS IT APPLIED?
Before applying FUGA-STOP 25×20 mm we recommend as follows:
- All contact substrates must be fully cured, resistant and solid, as well as free of dust, paint, waxes, oils and grease at all times.
Basic application of FUGA-STOP 25×20 mm
- Place the bead continuously in the middle of the joint and along its entire length.
- FUGA-STOP 25x20mm must be compactly embedded in the concrete with a minimum of 7 cm of concrete cover around it.
- Glue the FUGA-STOP 25×20 mm with the special MASTIC MS glue.
- Download the FUGA-STOP 25×20 mm Data Sheet to check all the technical details and to ensure correct, safe application.
HOW IS IT RECYCLED?
- Use cardboard and paper recycling bins to dispose of unusable and empty sacks.
- Use plastic recycling bins for unusable and empty plastic packaging.
- Mortar residues and leftover building materials must be disposed of at the appropriate green point or recycling location for your district.
