ADIFLEX

Latex to improve the FLEXIBILITY, adhesion and impermeability of cementitious adhesives.

ADIFLEX is a liquid compound consisting of polymers in aqueous dispersion which, when mixed with hydraulic adhesives and their compounds, improves their flexibility, adhesion and compressive and tensile strengths.

  • It replaces water in the kneading process.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION

  • It is always used as a substitute for WATER when mixing with glue cement.
  • Mixed with cementitious glue, it produces a flexible adhesive suitable for the most demanding requirements.
  • For laying ceramic tiles, mosaics of all types, marble or slate, even large-size panels, on floor tiles and facings, both INDOOR and EXTERIOR.
  • Tiles over built-in heating installations, or over cooling systems.
  • Ideal for exterior installations, such as façades, balconies, terraces and areas exposed to shrinkage-dilation movements of ceramic materials.
  • Tiles on precast concrete walls.
  • Tiles on substrates subject to vibration and/or bending.

HOW IS IT APPLIED?

HOW IS IT RECYCLED?

Before applying ADIFLEX we recommend as follows:

  • All substrates must be fully cured, resistant and solid, as well as free of dust, paint, waxes, oils and grease at all times.
  • Pre-moisten highly absorbent substrates or substrates exposed to the sun in hot weather to prevent rapid loss of water from the mixture.

Preparing the mix:

  • Mix approximately 5-6 litres of ADIFLEX with every 25 Kg of glue cement (e.g FIXACER). Use an electric mixer at a low RPM to avoid formation of lumps. Leave to stand for 5 minutes and remix, so that the paste is ready for use.
  • Download the ADIFLEX Technical Data Sheet to check all the technical details and to ensure correct, safe application.

HOW IS IT RECYCLED?

  • Use cardboard and paper recycling bins to dispose of unusable and empty sacks.
  • Use plastic recycling bins for unusable and empty plastic packaging.
  • Mortar residues and leftover building materials must be disposed of at the appropriate green point or recycling location for your district.
