ELASTICER FLUID

Tri-component reactive resin-based adhesive for waterproof and elastic bonding of ceramic tiles on a wide range of substrates.

  • Totally waterproof (100%).
  • Excellent adhesion to most substrates: ceramic, concrete, iron, paint (in good condition), PVC, mortar, wood, metals, polyureas, etc.
  • Offering maximum mechanical strength in a very short time.
  • Extraordinary elasticity.
  • Highly resistant to ageing.
  • SUPER-fluid.
  • Self-levelling.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION

  • With ELASTICER FLUID there is no need for double-bonding.
Glues non-absorbent ceramic tiles such as porcelain stoneware on non-absorbent substrates such as metal, glass, PVC and similar.
  • Bons ceramic tiles on substrates subject to high vibrations and/or bending.
  • Glues ceramic tiles on any type of wood, absorbent or otherwise: kitchen worktops, laboratories.
  • Laying of porcelain stoneware and vitreous mosaic on bonded PVC, after application of PRIMER PARA ELASTICER.
  • Indoor and outdoor horizontal laying
  • Ceramic tiles and large natural stones: marble, granite, slate, on mortar, RECRECEM PRE-MIX, FIX-REVOCO, FIX-NIVEL.
  • Placement of marble pieces in kitchen sinks.
  • Overlays on any type of ceramic, absorbent or non-absorbent.
  • Exterior installations: balconies, cornices, etc.
  • Waterproofing and laying of glass mosaic in showers and swimming pools.
  • The epoxy component provides high adhesion and the polyurethane component provides high elasticity to the ELASTICER. It is therefore the
  • ideal adhesive for bonding tiles on bonded PVC or on top of other substrates that may be subject to vibrations.

HOW IS IT APPLIED?

Before applying ELASTICER FLUID we recommend as follows:

  • The substrate must be clean, resistant and solid, as well as free of dust, waxes, oils, grease, oxides and old paint. The mortar substrates where ELASTICER FLUID is to be applied must be perfectly set.
  • Any presence of moisture will affect adhesive adhesion.
  • If it needs to be applied to bonded PVC, PRIMER PARA ELASTICER must be pre-applied (consult us).

Preparing the components:

  • The components are perfectly pre-dosed. The proportions should not be altered.
  • A set consists of: 1 large and 1 small bottle of liquid and 1 bag of powder. Empty the contents of the two bottles completely into the bucket. Next, pour all the powder out of the bag. Mix the mass with a spiral mixer at a high RPM for 2-3 minutes

Application:

  • For thin-layer ELASTICER FLUID, it is best to use a notched trowel with a tooth size of 3 mm. When a waterproof layer is required (wood, showers, swimming pools, etc.), proceed as follows: spread ELASTICER FLUID with a smooth trowel, achieving a minimum uniform thickness of ½ mm.
  • After 24 hours, apply ELASTICER FLUID to the ceramic tiles with a notched trowel. Where floorings are subject to vibrations, we recommend leaving wide joints of at least 5 mm. The parts to be laid must be dry. Always apply pressure on the tile to ensure a good grip. Tap on the pieces with a rubber mallet.
  • Protect the newly installed flooring from excessive heat, frost, rain, etc., for at least 24 hours after installation.
  • Very important: the setting time of ELASTICER FLUID depends on the temperature of the room where it is applied: DO NOT use ELASTICER FLUID at temperatures below +8°C.
  • Download the ELASTICER FLUID Data Sheet to check all the technical details, to view the various possible solutions according to each need and to ensure correct, safe application.

HOW IS IT RECYCLED?

  • Use cardboard and paper recycling bins to dispose of unusable and empty sacks.
  • Use plastic recycling bins for unusable and empty plastic packaging.
  • Mortar residues and leftover building materials must be disposed of at the appropriate green point or recycling location for your district.
