100% watertight and overlap-free waterproofing!

100% watertight and overlap-free waterproofing!

The waterproofing of a roof requires strict compliance with 5 objectives:

  • 100% watertight.
  • durability over time.
  • have maximum flexibility.
  • have maximum resistance to UV rays from the sun.
  • be easy to install.

At present, the only product that achieves all these objectives is the liquid polyurethane paint, type FIXAQUA FILM by FIXCER:

BUT polyurethane paint provides even more advantages, all of which are very beneficial for long-lasting, high-quality waterproofing. With FIXAQUA FILM we achieve:

  • elongations of more than 500%: it resists structural movements of the building.
  • Shore A hardness above 70: it withstands pedestrian traffic on a rooftop.
  • adhesions higher than 0.5 N/mm2: it adheres strongly to the surface/support to which it is applied.
  • chemical resistance to weak acids and alkalis: it resists acid rain.
  • service temperature between -50º and +90ºC: it resists freeze-thaw cycles.

In addition, it is important to note that this product is easy to apply. Mix the two pre-dosed components with an electric mixer; pour the product directly onto the substrate; spread it with the help of a 6 mm toothed trowel; pass a spiked roller over it to remove any trapped air and NOTHING ELSE: the waterproofing is now done without using butane, without using hot air and all done IN SITU, joining corners, walls and substrate WITHOUT OVERLAPS, with total continuity.

With all these excellent characteristics, FIXAQUA FILM is ideal for waterproofing:

  • mortar, concrete, metal, ceramic coverings,… tanks, bathrooms, changing rooms, swimming pool decks, cornices, gutters, flooring and cladding.
  • terraces and balconies.
  • waterproofing in extreme climatic zones, as it perfectly absorbs the expansion-shrinkage movements of the substrate and its possible small cracks.
  • re-waterproofing of old asphalt sheets, acrylic paints, roofs with tiles, zinc, aluminium and fibre cement.
